City Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning has worked out of 407 State Street since 1902, and every trade below comes out of the same shop. A plumbing supervisor and an HVAC service supervisor each run their own crew, so a blocked drain and a dead furnace go to two different technicians, but one phone call and one company stand behind either job.
The three trades
Residential and commercial, run by separate crews out of the same alley.
Sewer rodding, sewer cleaning and full replacement, drain cleaning, camera inspection and pipe locating on the residential side, plus water heaters, sump and sewage ejector pumps, and fixtures from Rheem, Zoeller, American Standard, Toto, Elkay, Delta and Kohler. The same crew handles commercial sanitary waste and vent piping, ASME medical gas piping and certified backflow prevention for restaurants, hospitals, schools and apartment buildings.
Plumbing detailsGas, electric and propane furnaces, sold, installed, repaired and maintained, alongside boilers, ductless and mini-split systems, radiant floor heating and geothermal. Commercially, the same trucks take on rooftop units, air handlers, ventilation and exhaust systems and sheet metal fabrication for buildings that cannot go cold.
Heating detailsSales, installation, repair and maintenance on all makes and models, not just the brands on the truck, plus heat pumps, ductless systems, programmable thermostats and home automation. Commercial work is design-build: chillers and cooling towers, hydronic and process chilling systems, and the controls that run them.

Beyond the three trades

REME HALO air purification units, the same ones on display in the State Street storefront window, installed straight into a home or building's own duct work, alongside humidifiers, dehumidifiers and UV air cleaning systems. Homes, apartments, offices, restaurants and retail spaces all run the same equipment.

Energy services detailsA 21-point annual inspection keeps a residential furnace and air conditioner from becoming a January surprise. Commercial buildings run on facility-wide maintenance programs through Linc Service. Senior citizen and military discount programs apply on either side.
